An old man had been almost deaf for years, so he finally went to see a specialist. The doctor fitted him with a new hearing aid – a tiny, almost invisible one – and the man could suddenly hear perfectly. A month later, he came back for a check-up. "Your hearing is excellent," said the doctor. "Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again." "Oh, I haven't told them," said the old man with a smile. "I just sit quietly in the living room and listen to their conversations." He leaned forward. "I've changed my will three times."
